Katharine was delighted to work with Kate Guinness Designs on her family bathroom at home.
With two little girls in the house, constantly coming home with sandy feet or leaves in their hair, the family bathroom occupies a significant position within family life and a very prominent position at the top of the main stairs.
"I had designed my Salzburg Sprig Tile with the family bathroom in mind, and I wanted to include it in a really useful way without completely smothering the room in it. I had never worked with an interior designer before but had the loveliest time working with Senior Designer, Sarah Davies-Bennion, who came up with the idea of a bespoke shower cubicle, made entirely of my new Salzburg Sprig Tiles.
The Kate Guinness Team measured the room, pulled all our ideas together, sourced a perfect Austrian Antique vanity, and created the drawings for the brilliant Padstow Heating and Plumbing to work from. It was such fun to share my new fabric and wallpaper designs with Sarah and see which she thought worked best in the space. I am prone to effervescence, but it's the best room in the house."
