This is Blume.

I borrowed these flowers from a memory of the best curtains I’ve ever seen, in the window of an old Austrian mountain hut.

After I drew Blume, I sent it out to India where it was hand carved onto wooden blocks and printed on linen. I wanted to keep production in the UK, but something in the natural imperfection of the block printed Blume improved the design and the best flowers from that journey to India and back made it onto the final artwork.

Blume is now printed in Macclesfield along with all other fabrics and wall coverings in the Minni Parker collection.

Price is per metre.

The standard vertical fabric repeat for Blume is 4.8cm. Blume is also available in a larger format with a vertical repeat of 7cm.

Both have a horizontal repeat of 137cm.

Please note that fabric batches will vary very slightly. We keep a small amount of meterage in stock. Larger quantities are be printed to order with a four week lead time.

All our designs are printed on 50/5 linen cotton as standard, with a Martindale Score of 20,000. All ink is certified as Azo dye free, OEKO-TEX certified, and to European REACH standards.

For commercial projects or tougher upholstery we use a 100% linen base with a Martingale Score of 100,000. Please send us a message if you would like to order commercial grade linen and we will come back to you with pricing.
